Case studies

Three engagements. All figures from Semrush.

Two dental, one retail. Practice names are confidential by agreement, which is standard in this industry — but on a call we will share our screen and walk you through the live accounts so you can check the numbers rather than take our word for them.

Penalties or dips

The practice

A multi-location dental practice in Washington State offering family dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants and emergency care across three sites.

The problem

The practice launched a brand-new website in October 2025 with no SEO foundation at all — no keyword targeting, no local signals, no content strategy and no existing organic visibility. Three locations, invisible in all of them.

The opportunity

Real patient demand existed in all three catchments across four distinct treatment sets. None of it was being captured, and the new build meant the architecture could be done correctly rather than retrofitted.

The strategy
Built the complete SEO foundation on launch day rather than after the fact
Mapped service pages to specific high-intent clusters: implants, Invisalign, emergency dental
Created dedicated location pages with city-specific targeting, schema and NAP consistency
Developed content covering both informational and commercial intent
Set internal linking architecture correctly from day one — no later restructure needed
The result

From zero organic visibility in October 2025 to over 1,700 monthly organic visits by May 2026, with 1,100+ ranking keywords. No penalties, no traffic dips, no algorithm damage across the entire engagement, and consistent month-on-month growth.

Why it mattered to the business

A brand-new practice site normally spends six to twelve months in the sandbox producing nothing. Getting the architecture right at launch compressed that to roughly ten weeks, which is two to three quarters of patient demand the group did not lose.

AI

Overviews presence

The practice

A well-established, busy and well-reviewed family dental practice in Dallas, Texas.

The problem

Traffic had bounced between 200 and 600 daily visits for eighteen months with no movement. Service pages had no local keyword targeting, the blog was entirely unused, and the highest-revenue pages — implants, orthodontics, sleep apnea — had no ranking visibility for the queries driving bookings in the market.

The opportunity

The practice was reputable and busy offline. The demand for its three highest-value treatments was being captured entirely by competitors, and closing that gap required no new services and no ad budget.

The strategy
Full content and on-page audit to identify every relevance gap
Rewrote all major service pages around Dallas-level keyword clusters and correct intent
Launched structured content for topical authority in family dentistry, implants and orthodontics
Prioritised the three highest-revenue service pages first: implants, orthodontics, sleep apnea
Systematically strengthened schema, local citations and internal linking
The result

After eighteen months of no movement, traffic broke out from January 2026 and reached 1,900+ daily visits by May 2026, with 143 keywords held in the top three. The practice also gained a presence in Google AI Overviews for informational dental queries.

Why it mattered to the business

The practice went from invisible to dominant on its three highest-production treatments without adding a service, hiring, or spending on ads — and the AI Overview presence positions it as the default local answer as more patients research through assistants.

The practice

An Australian ergonomic office equipment retailer. Included here because it is our longest Australian engagement, and because we would rather show you a real non-dental result than imply we have an Australian dental one.

The problem

Traffic had plateaued at roughly 1,200 daily organic visits with no growth trajectory. Category pages were under-optimised, product copy was thin, and competitors were steadily taking commercial keywords the retailer should have owned.

The opportunity

High-intent commercial demand already existed across every core category. The pages to capture it existed too — they were simply not written for the searches being made.

The strategy
Full technical and content audit to identify the growth blockers
Rewrote all major category pages around transactional search intent
Built a structured content calendar for topical authority in the niche
Restructured internal linking to push equity toward commercial pages
Optimised titles, descriptions and heading structure across the top 30 pages
The result

Traffic rose from approximately 1,200 to over 5,500 peak daily visits by April 2026 — a clean 3× increase. Top-3 keyword rankings grew from fewer than 50 positions to 317, with total ranking keywords crossing 1,900.

Why it mattered to the business

The mechanics here are the same ones we apply to a dental site: intent-mapped page rewrites, structured authority content, and internal architecture. The market and the search behaviour are Australian; the vertical is not dental, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

A note on transparency

What we will and will not claim.

Every traffic and keyword figure above comes directly from Semrush and reflects real organic performance during live engagements. None of it was produced with paid advertising.

We do not publish revenue or ROI numbers, because we do not run your practice management software and cannot verify what a visit was worth. Any agency quoting you a revenue figure for an SEO engagement is estimating, whether they say so or not.

Client identities stay confidential by mutual agreement. If you want to verify any of this, ask on a discovery call and we will walk through the live accounts on screen.
