Australia

Australian patients search by suburb. Most practice sites don't.

“Dental implants Bondi”, not “dental implants Sydney”. The searches that convert here are hyper-local, and the standard of content across the Australian dental market is low enough that genuine depth still wins quickly.

A lower competitive bar means the same work buys more ground than it does in a US metro.

What is different here

Australian dental search has its own rules.

01

Suburbs, not cities

A Melbourne practice competes in Richmond, Hawthorn and Camberwell, not in “Melbourne”. One page trying to serve all three ranks for none of them.

02

Health funds drive queries

Patients search around cover, gap payments and the annual limit reset. Content that answers those questions honestly captures intent competitors ignore.

03

Advertising rules are strict

AHPRA restricts testimonials and how outcomes can be presented in health advertising. Content has to be written to be compliant as well as persuasive, which rules out most template dental copy.

04

The content bar is low

Much of the Australian dental market runs keyword-stuffed template pages. Genuinely useful treatment content is still unusual, which is the whole opportunity.

Being straight with you

Our documented Australian result is not a dental one.

Our two documented dental engagements are American. Our longest Australian engagement is a 24-month ergonomic retail account, where organic traffic went from roughly 1,200 to over 5,500 daily visits with 317 keywords in the top three.

The mechanics transfer — category and treatment page rewrites, intent mapping, internal architecture. The market knowledge transfers. But we are not going to show you an Australian dental chart we do not have. If you want a dental reference in your own market, we are not the right choice yet, and we would rather say so now.
